Morning Coffee
I’ve always heard that in order to lose weight, I needed to cut out liquid calories. I can understand why, most drinks contains lots of sugar and calories and very little nutrition.
However, I’d been a massive coffee lover and drinker for years. There was NO WAY I was going to give up my morning latte! It’s really easy to make lower calorie alternatives to regular recipes with a little creativity.
I was on the hunt for a low calorie coffee syrup for MONTHS before I found ones that I absolutely loved! My all time favorite coffee syrups are Jordans Skinny Syrups!
To save you the time and hassle, this trio of caramel syrups is the best syrup purchase I have EVER made!
I have tried and tested SO MANY 0 calorie syrups and here are my all time favorites that I swear by, even to this day!
- Vanilla Caramel Creme (my ALL TIME fave)
- Salted Caramel
- Vanilla
- Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll

Breakfast
We all know the saying ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’ but if you’re anything like me, it couldn’t be further from the truth! I have always been a brunch kind of gal, I could never stomach food before 11am! If I were to have breakfast, it would typically be something superrrr light.
My go-to breakfast is (and always will be) oats. I love oats more than life (OK, maybe not MORE but you get the point lol). Baked oats, overnight oats, stove-top oats – I just can’t get enough!
I typically go for stove-top oats – here is a delicious foolproof recipe on getting the perfect thick and creamy stove-top oats every time. It is super simple, quick and convenient. I think the reason I never get bored of oats is because each time I make it, I always end up with a different flavor combo.
I usually go for classic the berries and banana combo with a little syrup or chocolate and peanut butter heaven.

Other options
When I’m not having oats, I’m usually having pancakes like these 250 calorie pancakes. They’re so easy to make, super delicious and just 250 calories! I know 250 is really low for breakfast, but I’m seriously not a breakfast person. I have to have something light or nothing at all lol.
Lunch
I have lunch pretty late too because I have breakfast late. I usually go for something a bit more filling but still light as I typically am not that hungry at lunch time.
When I was losing weight, I was OBSESSED with this Mango and Habanero prawn sushi bowl! It is soooo good, I would have it for breakfast lunch and dinner everyday honestly.
On occasion, I would have a salad for lunch. I was never a salad kind of girl until I started making my own. I love this pesto salad and this prawn salad! They are super delicious, light but still filling and so so easy to make.
Dinner
Dinner is honestly my favorite meal of the day – aside from dessert of course! It is where I usually have my largest meal. I know it’s not supposed to be but I’m just reallyyyy not a breakfast person.
My favorite recipes whilst losing weight were any type of pasta. I loveee pasta! I like to pair it with some type of protein like salmon or prawns.

Dessert
Okay NOW we’re really at my favorite meal of the day! I have never skipped out on dessert if I wanted it. It is actually so much easier to make low calorie desserts (that still taste super delicious) than you would think.
This cinnamon roll mug cake is one of my easiest and most delicious recipes! I would typically have mug cakes during my weight loss journey as they are soooo easy to make. Plus, they’re really delicious and an easy way to satisfy any sweet craving!
This mug cake is only 170 calories and tastes just like a cinnamon roll!
