To make this low calorie single serve lemon tiramisu, you will need:
Ladyfingers – For this recipe, I used homemade ladyfingers but they were the same amount of calories as most store bought ladyfingers. In the UK, most grocery stores sell sponge fingers which have around 23-24 calories each.
Lemon – We’ll be using an entire lemon for this recipe. The juice and zest will be used to make a lemon syrup which will be used to coat the ladyfingers as well as added to the filling. For a milder lemon flavor, opt for just half a small lemon.
Light cream cheese – I used light cream cheese to keep calories low whilst keeping the filling creamy and smooth. You can opt for mascarpone for a more authentic tiramisu but the calories will be a lot higher.
0% fat greek yogurt – To add volume and thickness to the filling. You can use 0% fat regular yogurt but the filling will come out slightly runnier than with greek yogurt.
Vanilla – No dessert is complete without a little vanilla.
0 calorie powdered sweetener/icing sugar – To sweeten both the syrup and the filling. You can make your own powdered sweetener by blitzing 0 calorie granulated sweetener in a food processor until fine. You can also opt for regular powdered/icing sugar but the calories will be higher.

If you would like to use mascarpone in this recipe, you can. Replace the cream cheese with 50g of mascarpone and mix with the yogurt. Bear in mind though that this will increase the calories by around 200 calories depending on the mascarpone you use.
Can I sub 0 calorie sweetener?
I would always recommend 0 calorie sweetener as this yields the lowest number of calories in any given recipe, and it still tastes great. For this recipe I went with 0 calorie powdered sweetener but if you don’t have that, you can use regular powdered/icing sugar which will increase the calories.
