Boil some water in a kettle or on the stove. Allow the water to cool slightly for roughly 5 minutes. You don't want to burn the matcha but you still want water hot enough to dissolve the matcha powder completely.
In a matcha bowl or small bowl, add the matcha powder and hot water and begin whisking. You can use a bamboo matcha whisk or traditional whisk here. Whisk until the matcha has dissolved completely and has frothed.
Fill your favorite glass with ice cubes and pour in the matcha.
