Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) barista almond milk
  • 1-2 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder + 30ml (2 tbsp) slightly cooled boiling water
  • 1-2 tbsp 0 calorie syrup
  • lots of ice

Instructions

  • Boil some water in a kettle or on the stove. Allow the water to cool slightly for roughly 5 minutes. You don't want to burn the matcha but you still want water hot enough to dissolve the matcha powder completely.
  • In a matcha bowl or small bowl, add the matcha powder and hot water and begin whisking. You can use a bamboo matcha whisk or traditional whisk here. Whisk until the matcha has dissolved completely and has frothed.
  • Fill your favorite glass with ice cubes and pour in the matcha.
  • Add your milk and syrup, mix and enjoy!
