These are the BEST low calorie brownies! At just 54 calories a piece, these brownies have all the chocolaty and fudgy goodness of regular brownies without all the excess sugar and calories!
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and stevia until light and fluffy. Then whisk in the yogurt, milk and vanilla extract.
Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder until smooth and lump free.
Fold in the chocolate chips then pour the batter into a prepared 8x8 inch baking tray. Bake for around 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs.
Allow the brownies to cool before slicing and enjoy!

Notes
* Plain or All-purpose flour - This recipe calls for plain or all-purpose flour. For a gluten free alternative, you can use gluten free flour or oat flour.*Stevia or 0 calorie granulated sweetener - The stevia i use is a 1:2 ratio of stevia to sugar. You can use any 0 calorie granulated sweetener but be mindful of the conversion! This recipe would require 100g of regular sugar so if your sweetener is a 1:1 ratio, use 100g etc.*0% fat greek yogurt - Greek yogurt is much thicker than regular yogurt which results in fudgier brownies. If you're using regular yogurt, use 50g rather than 80g. *Unsweetened almond milk - Unsweetened almond milk is very low in calories! You can use any milk you would like for this recipe, but the calories will increase! (it will be such a small increase though so don't worry about it!!).*Dark chocolate chips - To tie everything together, add in your favorite chocolate chips! Although this recipe calls for dark chocolate, feel free to use milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate or any chocolate you love!
Tips!
Try not to over mix the batter - One thing I have found with this recipe is that it is more cake-like in texture if you over mix the batter. There is nothing wrong with that at all, they're still just as delicious! But if you're wanting more of a dense or fudgy brownie, try to mix the batter just enough so everything is combined without overdoing it!
Give the brownies time to cool - It can be tempting to slice into these cookies straight out of the oven but it's best to give them a few minutes to firm up and cool. They'll be more dense and less likely to fall apart once slightly cooled! I find that 25-30 minutes is the perfect amount of time to allow the brownies to cool.
Mix in some white chocolate - I love love LOVE adding white chocolate to my brownies! Add in half dark and half white chocolate chips for the ultimate, delicious low calorie brownie!
