Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp (32g) all-purpose/plain flour
  • 2 tbsp (30g) 0 calorie brown sugar
  • tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp (20g) applesauce
  • 1 tsp (5ml) olive oil or oil of choice
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • tsp ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C (356°F).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the 0 calorie brown sugar, applesauce, vanilla and oil until well combined. Fold in the flour, baking soda and spices and combine to form a dough.
  • Divide the dough into 3 equal balls and place onto a prepared baking tray. Flatten the balls slightly before placing in the oven. Bake for 8 minutes, the cookies may look underdone but they will bake as they cool so make sure you don't over-bake them.
  • Let the cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
