TOP TIPS & STORAGE
Refrigerate before baking – Chill the cookie dough for 30 minutes before baking for the perfect chewy cookie! Chilled cookie dough also produces a firmer cookie.
Don’t over-bake – When these cookies come out of the oven, they’ll be very soft and can seem under-baked. But they will firm up and bake more as they cool so avoid over-baking. I find that 12 minutes is perfect for this cookie.
Don't over-mix the cookie dough - Fold the cookie dough just so that everything is well combined. Over-mixing the cookie dough can lead to tough and dry cookies.
STORAGE
These cookies can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for 3-5 days. These cookies are suitable for home freezing, Place them in a zip lock bag and freeze for up to 6 months.
